If you come by train from Kyoto station .... (1) Take the JR Nara line from Kyoto station (tracks 8, 9, 10). Make sure you get on a local (green train) because the express does not stop at Obaku. (2) Go to the 7th stop, Obaku station, which is about 20 minutes. From the train station … (1) The closest station is either Obaku station of the JR Nara line or Obaku station of the Keihan Uji line. About 5-10 min walk. (2) Enter the main building from the wood deck. (3) Right after you enter the building, please turn left. (4) The S section is at the end. Turn right and walk about 20m. S314 is left hand side.
