A two-day workshop on "Earthquake Early Warning (EEW)" under the sponsorship of the JSPS, JST, USGS, and DPRI will be held at the Kyoto University in Uji, Japan, from April 21 (Tuesday) to 22 (Wednesday), 2009.
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together an international group of experts to assess the scientific basis, current technologies, and prospects for earthquake early warning with the goal of producing plans for prototyping and testing EEW systems in Japan and elsewhere.
We are looking forward to your participation.
