Mw7.6 Chi-Chi, Taiwan Earthquake occurred on September 20, 1999 (1:47 AM Taiwan
local time on September 21). Immediately following the earthquake,
several people from DPRI traveled to Taiwan to investigate the faulting and
damage (Report
of a Quick Investigation). These photos of the earthquake region were taken
on September 25 and 26.
